Before my old man was retired he worked as an emergency slaughterer.
He "took care of" animals that where to sick to be treated.

At one time he went to the zoo to kill a that was sick.
All the animals in the herd was kept in a large corral.
It was hard to get a good shot at the right animal so he had to move about a bit.
But when the animals sensed that he was looking for a certain animal, they all started to spit at the sick one.
Soon the llama was driven out of the heard and my dad could easily kill it.

Today I am that llama and it's not a good feeling.
